The bar and the restaurant are open to all; current guests, past
guests that have gone on to buy their own chalets, neighbours
and friends. It’s fun for guests and my staff to hear stories
of ‘the olden days’, parties had, romances begun,
and of course they love to tell stories about me and how it was
here when I first started up!
The bar is open until 1am each night and the music collection
is vast and varied! If the mood suits we push back the sofas
and the dance floor is ready! We sometimes have live music
from local artists, and sometimes a bit of classical or jazz
for a more relaxed evening. Our evenings begin here with
canapés and an aperitif before dinner.
The dining room has one large ‘banquet’ style
table where everybody eats together. I like to insist on
a boy-girl-boy-girl seating arrangement and the menu is truly
international. If you are not staying with us just give us
48 hours notice and we will reserve a place for you at the
table. |
