Spring is on the way and it is time to dust the mountain and road bikes down!!!

BBC Travel and Lonely Planet review of The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse in Morzine is an evocative stone building dating back
to 1771. Rooms are split between the house and a trio of cottages spread
over the attractive grounds including a mazot (a miniature mountain
chalet). Evening dining is a lavish affair (429 Chemin de la Coutettaz;
from £80).

Gearing up for the winter season in Morzine

We have a great new team this winter with a couple of the old faithfuls back again - this year we have a bigger team than ever:

Beth

Runs the office and in her 4th winter with us, is the voice at the end of the phone & the name on all the e-mails!

James

also now in his 4th year, will be back in his ski host role showing you all the best pistes and mountain routes as well as keeping us all entertained!

Leon

is our fantastic new Head Chef at The Farmhouse. With many years experience in kitchens around the world, Australian-born Leon will be here to ensure that your tastebuds are satisfied at every mealtime!

Adam

Leon's righthand man also with a great deal of experience as a chef - Adam will be helping Leon to create his culinary delights as well as preparing our famous Savoyarde Banquet every Wednesday

Olivia

One of our lovely team of chalet girls, Olivia will be a regular face to you all; at breakfast, dinner and will be here to help you with anything you need during your stay.

Alice

Another member of the hard working chalet girl team, Alice will again be here to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible.

Georgina

The final member of the chalet girl team, Kiwi Georgina joins her partner Hamish (our driver) to do her first ski season here at the Farmhouse.

Liam

Liam is our friendly Kiwi driver who will be the first Farmhouse face you see at the airport so will entertain you with stories of Morzine and the snow conditions on your way up the hill to The Farmhouse.

Hamish

Will be working alongside Liam to ensure that your transfers run smoothly and you are shuttled to and from the slopes each day in our lovely minibuses!

Caitlin

Caitlin, our lovely ballerina barmaid is here to ensure that you are well looked after in the bar before and after dinner in front of the roaring fire!

Max

Last put not least is Max who is our 'Boy Friday' and general handyman. You will see Max in many different roles throughout your stay; behind the bar, in the restaurant, on afternoon tea, fixing things - he is a man of many talents!

We are looking forward to a great winter and hope to see you some time during the season.
