Once the town’s only Prison Cell, in the window sill one can still see where the bars used to be! This room can be configured as a twin or double. The en-suite Victorian bathroom is particularly cosy and perfect for a post-mountain soak. The window faces out onto the garden and the old water trough.
This room may have originally been a parlour or tack room. The alcoves used to look into the stables next door, now the Dining Room, to allow the family to keep a close eye on their livelihood, the cattle, then underneath here was the cheese cellar.
